About the Role

Provide or assist with basic care or support with daily living activities. Perform duties such as monitoring health status, feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, or ambulation of patients primarily in their homes. This may include medication administration and other health-related tasks.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Assisting and Caring for patients

  • Adjust the position of patients on beds or tables.

  • Apply bandages, dressings, or splints.

  • Assist patients with daily activities.

  • Feed patients.

  • Assist with Medication Management.

  • Hold patients to ensure proper positioning or safety.

  • Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates

  • Documenting/Recording Information activities done during each visit

  • Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships

  • Light Cleaning, Cooking, and various household chores.

  • Reporting any changes in the Patient's health.

Requirements

  • High school diploma.

  • 1 to 2 years of proven experience as a Caregiver, CNA, PCAor a similar role in the Healthcare Industry.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours which may include night shifts.

  • Stay responsible and active in case of an emergency.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Should be a quick decision-maker.

  • Great time management and physical endurance.

  • Experience in housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints.

  • Will to bond to health and safety standards with home care.

  • Strong ethics and compassion for people.

  • A keen eye on details.

  • Confident individual

  • Preference may be given to certified nursing assistants but open to PCAs with necessary experience.
